Garry Sandhu:

Hailing from the heart of the West Midlands; singing prodigy Garry Sandhu is set to unleash his raw vocal prowess to the masses in 2010.

Garry Sandhu’s musical journey began at the young age of twelve in the Panjab, where under the guidance of Gurdeep Singh Sandhu was taught Kavishri. A form of religious singing, Kavishri is an energetic and dynamic form of singing, which relies on the power of the vocals to compensate for the lack of any instruments. Garry would often be required to sing live in front of large audiences whilst performing Kavishri, an invaluable experience for any young performer. Performing Kavishri and singing at his local Gurdwara, Garry was given an enduring spiritual platform to start his journey into music.

Garry Sandhu’s own musical influences come from a wide ranging number of artists, including the multi talented and skilled Waris Brothers ( Manmohan, Kamal & Sangtar) who take precedence with their energetic performances. An important influence on Garry Sandhu is the late & supremely talented Soni Pabla; whose enigmatic voice has inspired Garry more than any other.

It was when Garry Sandhu moved to the UK when he’s passion for singing was reinvigorated. Garry was encouraged by family and friends to pursue a singing career, initially performing at private functions, where his natural ability to sing live effortlessly was clearly evident. Having settled in arguably the heartland of UK Bhangra; the West Midlands, Garry was in the perfect position to harness his natural vocal gift.

The past year has seen Garry busy in the studio, working with some of the finest producers in the UK Asian Music scene, developing his debut album. The recently released ‘Mein Ne Peenda’ produced by Kam Frantic, has cemented Garry Sandhu as one of the most exciting young stars in the UK Bhangra scene.

Navjeet Kahlon:

Navjeet Kahlon was born on 28th March at (Dakoha)Jallandhar &

grew up in Mohali and was raised up with musical dreams..His background is from village takoraan near Mohali In his earlier age he rooted himself with the songs of Dilshad Akhtar. He did his earlier schooling from mohali & Chandigarh and moved to Sydney (Australia).Navjeet’s singing style was regarded and encouraged in school and university competitions. He spent his good enough times with Late Bhawani Shankar & Meet Malkit finding out folk singing styles of punjab. Over the years, Navjeet performed on several stages and proved himself with his unparalleled singing style. He did his first music album in 2006, of which track CHAD DILA KHAYAL OHDA striked the charts and hearts of music lovers and still is. Later he featured a multi artist album compiled by Speed Records India named PURE ENERGY. He contributed his two songs LONDON NAA KARWADU and KHEDE GORIYE, produced by Beat Minister and directed by Jcee Dhanoa and Parmod Sharma Rana.

Navjeet worked for more than eighteen months on its audio with his music producer, Beat Minister and finally hooked it up for music lovers. He did the best and proved himself a versatile and multilateral artist by working on its videos with R Swami, one of the best directors of the industry.The track WAPARI continues to be a heart throb among asian music lovers. Album consists of different music genres including UK dhol and bass, reggae, clubsound and easy listening tunes.
